To use Alpaca-Search.com to perform a search:
- Connect to the web site.
- You will reach a page with the search box as seen below:
- Type your search terms in the box.
- Click the 'Search' button.
- You will be taken to a page with your search results.
- If desired, narrow your search by selecting a refinement, such as "Shearing".
Use the "Site Lookup" tool to research your favorite Alpaca webiste.
- Click the "Site Lookup" link in the header bar
- You will be taken to the lookup page:
- Enter any details you know, partial names and links are OK.
- Click on the 'Search' button.
- You will receive a list of sites that match your criteria.
- The results will contain the services (or refinements) for each listing.
- There will only be 10 results per page returned. Use the navigation links at the bottom to see more entries.
Use "Search" feature to find sites offering services you need:
- Click the "Site Lookup" link in the header bar
- You will be taken to the lookup page:
- Leave the Name and Link fields blank.
- Check the boxes for the service you are looking for.
- Click the Search button to get your results.
- The results will contain the sites with the services (or refinments) you selected.
- There will only be 10 results per page returned. Use the navigation links at the bottom to see more entries.
Use the "Add a Site" link to add a new site or request an update to an existing site:
- Click the "Add a site" link in the header bar
- You will be taken to the Add a Site form
- Fill in the form with the proper details
- Be sure to request any refinements you would like changed if this is really a change request.
- Click the "Send Email" button to send your changes to the Alpaca-Search.com staff.
- Once the email is received, the staff person will verify the site and make the requested changes.
- You should recieve an email in a day or so once the process is complete.
Use the "Remove a site" link to request a site be removed from Alpaca-Search.com:
- Click the "Remove a site" like in the header bar
- You will be taken to the Remove a site form
- Fill in the form with the proper details.
- Click the "Send Email" button to send your removal reques to the Alpaca-Search.com staff.
- Once the email is received, the staff person will make the requested change.
- You should receive an email in a day or so once the process is complete.
Advertise on Alpaca-Search.com:
- Click on the "Advertise" link in the header bar.
- You will be taken to the Alpaca-Search.com web store.
- Select the type of advertising you would like.
- Add it to your cart.
- Keep shopping or checkout if you have all you need.
- Fill out your payment information.
- Complete your purchase.
- Staff at Alpaca-Search.com will be in contact with you as soon as possible to get your advertisement on the website.
