It has been a few days since my last post here, but I haven’t been gone from the computer. Pretty much every spare minute has been spent improving the usefulness of the site. I have researched around 1500 alpaca related web sites, visiting each one and determining if it belonged in the Alpaca-Search.com database. I ended up with about 1290 sites that fit my criteria and are now in the search engine. Feel free to have a look if you haven’t already.

Some of the new features are a database lookup so you can see if your site is in the lookup engine quickly and easily. You can also use the search to find services you need for your farm without even performing a Google search!

We are providing advertising on the site to hopefully offset some of the costs of running the search engine. We feel the rates are reasonable and fair. We hope that some of you will want to place advertisements on the site. I am looking forward to your comments on the search engine.

Well, it’s a beautiful day in La Center, Washington. I have been working hard for the last couple of days to get the Alpaca Only Search engine available for production use. It’s finally ready to go live. There are a few more things I would like to add to the site, and I will get to them shortly, but for now, go ahead and use it. That is if you know about it and can find it. It’s pretty new right now, so I am sure people won’t be able to do much with it yet. Hopefully that will change soon!

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll post updates soon.
